ORCHARD INFORMATION

Orchard consists of 2370 high yield coffee trees with a perimeter boundary of 150 koa trees. The planted area is approximately 4.00 acres. These were planted four years ago by Agro Resources, Kona’s recognized farm management specialists.

Orchard is irrigated to supplement the rainfall and an auto pump system is in place near the home site to pump water to a tank at the top of the orchard. This also allows for fertigation. Trees are currently yielding 20 pounds per tree with a projected yield of 25 pounds per tree at maturity. Current price of coffee cherry is approximately .85 to .95 cents per pound.

The koa trees are also on the irrigation system and are expected to mature in 25 years. Based on today’s dollar value, they would yield $1,000 to $1,500 on stump at maturity.

POTENTIAL
While the orchard is more or less planted up, there is adequate room to create a roasting facility and packaging area to take the output to its optimum value. Farmer/producers involved in internet and other sales channels for roasted and packaged Kona Coffee are finding this a profitable operation.

More details on the coffee operation and the financials can be made available on request for serious, qualified inquiries.

The Seller and Clark Realty Corporation give no guarantee as to the yields or market value of the coffee orchard or koa tree plantings. The agricultural risks associated with growing crops and timber and the natural risks of the area are assumed by the orchard owner.
